WEDDINGS WE LOVE: COLIN & JENNIFER

Colin & Jennifer were married in a small, intimate ceremony at Stafford’s Bay View Inn in August. 

They had their first date at a local establishment (Mim’s Mediterranean Grill) and talked so much, they didn’t notice they started closing the restaurant around them. After that, they were inseparable. 

The proposal happened after Colin completed Stafford’s Top of Michigan Community Marathon on Little Traverse Bay. 

“I never wanted a big wedding,” Jennifer noted. “I only wanted something small and intimate, with a focus on the excitement of our wedding but not based on old traditions and ideas. It was important to me to highlight that our wedding was about our beginning and adventure together, a marker of the starting line.” 

Colin & Jennifer wanted to use as many local vendors as they could from Jennifer’s “adopted” hometown of Alanson.

Color Scheme: The room of the Bay View Inn dictated the colors.
